Nanticoke, October 2, 2018 – State Senator John Yudichak (D – Luzerne) and State Representative Eddie Day Pashinski (D – Luzerne) announced today that Hanover Township will receive $535,357 in funding for the Loomis Park Bridge Replacement Project from the Multimodal Transportation Fund.

The funding will be used to replace the Loomis Park Bridge, which provides pedestrian and vehicular access to the Loomis Park development.

“Hanover Township continues a remarkable period of infrastructure investment that is improving public safety and setting the stage for economic growth in the South Valley Corridor,” said State Senator John Yudichak.

“As always, we’re incredibly appreciative to Governor Tom Wolf and his administration for investing in our communities and helping to increase the safety for vehicles and pedestrians accessing the Loomis Park development,” said Representative Pashinski.
