Harrisburg, March 21, 2017 — The Lehigh Valley Health Network announced today a major investment at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton that will significantly expand the hospital’s facilities in downtown Hazleton as well as its regional operations to better transition its healthcare delivery model towards more ambulatory outpatient care and wellness programs.
State Senator John T. Yudichak (D-Luzerne/Carbon) applauded Lehigh Valley Health Network’s commitment to Greater Hazleton. “The expansion and modernization of the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton represents more access to quality, affordable health care for residents of northeastern Pennsylvania and a significant investment in our regional economy,” said Senator John Yudichak.
